banjari - Steeped in history
This design dates back to the 16th-century communities in Rajput. The pattern symbolizes the life and identity of the Nomadic Indian communities Gadia Lohar and Banjara.
The bold repeat of the spear/arrow motif is traditional for Godia Lohar, iron workers known for their fierce defense of their identity, and very skilled makers of the bhala spear.
