Our bolsters and cushions are dyed, printed and upholstered in India and we inspect, assemble and deliver from Calm Buddhi HQ in Australia.
We work hard to get ensure your Calm Buddhi item arrives to you in the best condition possible.
Once you have your beautiful items, here's some great tips to keep it in great condition! If you any questions please message us, we'd love to help you!

Tip #1
Store your products in a place that is not in direct sun. This will prevent your beautiful hand crafted item from fading.

Tip #2
Use your breath as your guide, if your unable to maintain an equal inhale and exhale then the chances are you need to find support in your props.
Your bolster is there to support you - to bolster a part of the body in order to open, release or support that part.
They bring the practice to you and their main purpose is to provide support in such a way that you can let go and breathe calmly in your yoga practice.

Tip #3
Our round and oval bolsters are filled with a natural fibre called kapok. It grows on trees and takes less water to harvest so makes it a more sustainable option for our planet.
It looks like cotton but is much lighter in weight. This makes it an easier product to transport to your classes. When you first receive your bolster you will notice that it is slightly firm. Please note when we are low or out of stock we hand fill our bolsters with Australian cotton.
Over time as you use your bolster the natural fibre will compress and soften. Filling it up firmly gives you more longevity and support out of your bolster.
As with any natural fibre it will compress and change shape the more you use it.
The same goes for our buckwheat filled round, crescent and rondo cushions. But they come with the advantage of being able to lower the height by removing some of the buckwheat hull. It does take some manouvering to take the cover off Send us a message on instragram if you wouldl ike to see a video demonstration.

Tip #4
Kapok absorbs less moisture than cotton making a great choice for our bolsters but some really humid areas or those with a lack of circulation require some extra help to prevent the bolster absorbing humidity.
If you live in a humid area we recommend storing silica beads inside the liner of your bolster or meditation cushion.

Tip #5
Our bolsters and cushions are all made with a zipped cover so that if needed you may clean your bolster cover.
To preserve the beauty and integrity of your bolster, dry cleaning is best practice. This ensures your item will be enjoyed for years to come and prolongs the quality of the natural dyes and hand-crafted details.
