Meditation Cushion - Rustic Rusty Ajrakh Zabuton

The variations seen in the Rustic range are part and parcel with using natural dyes, resists, and hand block printing, making these items perfectly imperfect, all whilst getting an amazing discount of 15% off.

Due to the natural dye technique and weather events, the dye potency has been impacted on the Rusty Ajrakh products, and in some cases, there are more obvious block print marks on the fabric. Each piece of Rusty Ajrakh fabric is dyed and hand block printed separately so in some cases we may have made a product from two pieces with slightly different shades.

Made by the amazing Sufiyan and his team in Gujarat India.  Our artisans have used multiple hand carved blocks and steps to create this pattern with natural dyes including madder root, indigo, fermented iron and resist paste in gum arabic and lime powder. 

Our artisans work is shown in each Calm Buddhi Zafu.  In hand block printing imperfections are characteristic and add to the charm of this traditional technique.

Our zabutons are the perfect size to support your seat, legs and feet. This cloud like platform lifts you off the floor and provides the extra cushioning you need to maintain a comfortable seated position for longer meditations. Use it under your Zafu – or use it on it’s own.  Pair with a color coordinated Zafu. You will not want to put these away ~ a talking point and constant reminder to promote a regular daily practice.
